The Process

You’ll first send me details about your vision + a reference photo for what you’d like crafted and I’ll review it to ensure the concept and my artistic style align. If we’re a good fit, we’ll work collaboratively to bring it to life. I’ll provide you with 2-3 preliminary composition sketches for you to select, and then the painting begins!

Pricing

I currently offer commissions in 3 sizes. All commissioned paintings are done in acrylic.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission. The remaining balance + shipping fee will be invoiced before shipping. Prices do not include framing.

Prices are in CAD. 🇨🇦

  • 5×7in: $250 — cold-press paper or stretched canvas

  • 9×12in: $450 — cold-press paper or stretched canvas

  • 11×14in: $575 — stretched canvas only

  • The short answer is, yes! The long answer is that traditional pet portraits (an entire painting dedicated to your pets face, for example) is not my thing. However, I love incorporating animals into broader scenes. Get in touch and we can discuss your vision.

  • I like to leave ample time for commissions so they are never rushed. As such, they can take up to 4 weeks for smaller sizes and 8 or more weeks for larger sizes, excluding shipping time. Sometimes I am able to finish them sooner. I will keep you posted throughout the process.

  • If for any reason you decide not to take your finished painting, you are not required to pay in full. However, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • Original fine art and commissioned paintings are non-refundable. If you experience an issue with your finished piece or damage in the mail, contact me and I will help as best I can.
