This Strawberry Beet Smoothie requires only 4 ingredients and is so vibrant and pigmented with a gorgeous crimson red colour thanks to the beets. Here are two big benefits of this smoothie:

Strawberry Beet Detox Smoothie

A simple 4-ingredient smoothie made with strawberries and beets.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries

  • 1 medium-sized beet, cooked and peeled

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Add one whole beet, skin on, to a pot of boiling water and boil for about 40 minutes until fork can easily pierce through flesh.

  2. Let cool, and remove skin (skin will peel easily once cooked).

  3. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.

  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
