Easy Homemade Hummus

A classic, flavourful hummus recipe made with chickpeas, tahini, garlic and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chickpeas (540ml / 19oz can) You can use canned or cooked yourself.
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth, about 30-60 seconds or so. It'll have a bit of texture too it, but shouldn't be too chunky.

  2. Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
