Natural DIY Deodorant Recipe

A natural 3-ingredient deodorant recipe that can easily be modified with essential oils to customize the scent!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp arrowroot or corn starch
  • 2 tbsp baking soda
  • 10-20 drops essential oil of choice (I like 10 drops lavender and 15 drops bergamot) *optional

Instructions

  1. Melt or soften coconut oil (if hardened)

  2. Add baking soda and starch to small bowl and combine.

  3. Mix in coconut oil (you can melt or soften it beforehand for easier mixing) and stir until combined.

  4. Add essential oils if desired and stir.

  5. Transfer to container of choice (a 3-4oz jar works just fine). Store in a cool, dry place.

Recipe Notes

This homemade deodorant may liquify a little bit if kept in warm environments. Store in refrigerator if desired. Will last 3 months or longer.
