Spicy Chai Smoothie

by | Oct 27, 2017 | Beverages

This Spicy Chai Smoothie is the perfect drink this time of year with warming spices and the comfy fall flavours.

Chai is one of my favourite spice blends and I get pretty excited once fall hits, because chai is everywhere! Including my kitchen, and this spicy chai smoothie.

I made my own homemade chai spice mix which is what I use to throw into this super easy, immune-boosting, anti-bacterial smoothie. It’s the perfect comforting drink for cold & flu season, and it only requires a few ingredients.

This Spicy Chai Smoothie is more than just delicious. Cloves provide powerful antimicrobial activity, and cinnamon helps balance our blood sugar. Alongside the antibacterial properties of the chai spices, cayenne helps during cold and flu season by aiding sinus congestion. Plus, it’s great for warming you up on a chilly day!
